UAB “Dauparų žuvis” company started in 1998, in Klaipėda district, Dauparai village.

Salted, hot-smoked, and cold-smoked fish products were the first products in “Dauparų žuvis” company. These products were sold in marketplaces and in small stores. At that time the company employed about 10 people. Fresh and tasteful products were supplied to clients. Due to increasing demand in production and sales growth, the company decided to expand its production facilities. Dauparu Zuvis manufacturing facilities were transferred to the city of Šilutė.  During this process, production equipment and technological procedures have been updated to current standards and practices.

Currently, 100 employees work for Dauparu Zuvis. The production line consists of approximately 120 products. This production line supplies the largest Lithuanian shopping centers, and products are exported to foreign countries. Product assortment consists of culinary fish product, jerked products, and products packed in vacuum sealed packages and cruets.

The company invests money constantly to update technologies and create new products. This year the company has expanded with a jerked NATMADE product line.
